hahaha, for sure the potch is so tempting XD, dang there a drop rate mod? imma try it after reach 10 hour LOL
edited
finally after 9 hour got 1 celedon.. time to resume the story
At first I farmed seven ??? Urns
-> Octopus x5, Celadon x2
After that I would farm batches of four ??? Urns, and with the exception of the (1st batch of four), I got one Celadon Urn in every batch
Now that I have six Celadon Urns, and only one more to go? Now all of a sudden, the last two (batches of four ??? Urns) are suddenly not coughing up any Celadon
It’s like “what, don’t choke out on me now”
My advice is :
1) find the right enemy
2) just fight this enemy (in groups) and run away/let go all the others
It will work out eventually.
Got the Celadorn Urn early on (before Toto) from the Bonbons (blue fluffies) and kept it in storage.
P.S.: The effect from luck on drop rates has been debunked, but somehow, having a high luck party works for me (100% psychological).
go to the tradepost in gregminster and buy one (don't worry about the money, you'll have more then enough just getting there)
‘The stars guide us, but we must chart the path ourselves.’
Which loosely translates to: ‘GIT GUD!’
All done now, farmed another set of (??? urn x4) last night:
-> Defective Urn x3
-> Celadon Urn x1
Takin my 7 Celadons and (I think) 12-14 Octopus to finally leave this region - gonna finally checkout how they changed Rock’s warehouse, and adapt my storage plans accordingly (will prob sell some Octopus Pots)
Overall I’ve got to say, seems like farming Celadons is WAY easier in the remaster VS the original (at least, natural farming; PS1 using the RNG exploit is of course the actual easiest)
