Celadon Urn on Hard

Does hard affect enemy drop rate? They were already abysmal in the original games for certain missable items, so I hope not.

I'm already dreading getting the Silence Rune to drop again...

Ive been grinding for urns since release, have only managed two octopus urns and one failure urn.

I'm not sure. That's why I asked. Since I got over level 10 I can't get any drops. and yeah, drop rates still crappy.

i got one on hard recently im assuming it just a matter of getting lucky assuming the drop rate from the original is still the case since the drop rate for that one is 0.26% according to this https://www.suikosource.com/games/gs1/guides/bestiary.php from back in the day ironically was not trying to get it just happened when i killed some while farming the killer slimes when going back to heal for free

i believe was my first item to drop other then possibly medicine...
i don't know what it does, and of course wasn't looking for it. granted i'm not playing "on hard' but don't think that makes a difference for this case.

The Celadon Urn is worth 10.000 potch and you can place the urns in your bathhouse what makes the Celadon Urn kinda special because of it's rarity. Still seems like a completionist thing. The 10.000 potch are nice and upgrading all of the weapons gets really expensive. But you absolutely don't need to upgrade your weapons to the max to beat the final bosses.

The Celadon Urn in II has nothing to do with the one in I. In II you can just buy it in Gregminster and bring it to Lebrante.

Im sitting on 4 octopus pots and 7 defective pots, but still no celadon

I got the Celadon urn just now on Hard, after 1 octopus and 5 defective.

I've been trying for literal hours, the thing just won't drop (I've gotten like 8 Octopus Urns and 5 Defective). Considering giving up and waiting for a mod that either increases the extremely low drop rate or makes this thing not permanently missable.
