i'd want them all just for collection sake, but 5 and tactics are the main hopes for next
I THINK they intend to see if they can make funding for future remakes using that Star Leap game they're releasing on mobile. The stream insinuated that if that game is received well, then they'll look at possibly remaking the other games? (At least that's the impression I got)

3 and 4 not worth the time investment lets be honest

:eoewhat: Why not? I can't speak for other people but I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Sure 3 was a bit wonky but it was still a lot of fun. 4 was fun too, though I think the only complaint I had in ye'olde times was that my boat was too slow.

One attractive/badass heroine does not make up for the sins of her game.

I do NOT want to see III remastered.

I want to see it REMADE. From the ground up. Rip EVERYTHING down. Go full FF7 on it.

III is absolutely awesome. epic story conclusion
5 was by far, my favorite Suikoden game.

But I also realize that it was last Suikoden game for a reason. It didn't sell well, and very much like the franchise, the game also ended with a whimper.

It would be glorious to see that game get a remake, but life taught me not to expect good things to happen. Just appreciate what I have now.

Suikoden 3 is arguably the best one for some people (including me) thanks to its extremely good narration structure, interesting mechanics and many other details.
3 is epic with its scenario you discover through several points of view, 2 adult protagonists and one decent kid, the skills to customise warriors in different ways and of course the theater.

It has its downsides and is much more experimental than your more classic jrpg but that can be a huge strength.

I really hope 3, 4 and 5 are remastered.
4 might need some QoL as I vaguely remember it having some big issues.

Suikoden 3 would really benefit from instant load times.

You kidding? 3 was the last suikoden Murayama worked on it and has one the best stories and villains in the series.

God I hope at least for 3. I HATED 3 the first time I played it. I thought the trinity system was so dumb. Now its my second favorite Suikoden game after II. Honestly Thomas chapter and Hugos story are incredible and so much fun. I dont know if this is true or not but its just a feeling I get, but I know Murayama walked out after Konami wouldnt stop screwing around with his games, but it feels like he didnt finish 3. If you notice the final dungeon is just empty and it feels like the story is roaring along and then just BAM over.

hoping! if a lot of players buy this game we have a shot. Silent Hill sold a lot and now there are rumors for another remake. so konami is interested in revitalizing old franchises

I wish this was an actual remake, in 3d etc.

I do hope they do a remaster of at least 3. Which is my 2nd favorite in the series.

The only real QoL 4 needs is to tone down the rate of random encounters. They were way too frequent in the original, at least when out at sea. I guess speeding up sailing would be fine too.

I really hope all three plus Tactics get remastered. No remakes, just remasters.
