PROT rune piece?
I don't remember that in the original, any idea what it would do? I assume instead of adding an element it just increases defence, or chance to 'protect' other characters?

it was called defense rune piece, they changed the name, it increase your defense by 1, it also drop from snail from a mountain dungeon, but very rare

here you can see a list of items that increase your stats, you can farm some of them if you want but really no need
