Some games have it, some don't.
In my experience, usually Steam's server network is so fast compared to consoles that it doesn't matter. A few times it took more time to unpack and deploy the pre-downloaded content than it did to just download and install it normally when available.
I have a daily download limit of 15GB before my bandwidth gets throttled, but unlimited downloads between 11pm and 8am, so if I download this after I get up, potentially it will use my entire daily limit.
Really, every game should just have a pre-load, but since Steam is never going to enforce that, auto-download on release would be nice to have.
that's some crazy internet restrictions :(
3am EST, midnight PST, 8am GMT. The store page also has a timer. It'll be available in just under 5 hours, and yes you can play it on steamdeck
jesus, and I thought my Canadian internet was bad lol. I have friends in Toronto that can get 8Gbps for $90/mo (before taxes), and I get 1Gbps down and 30Mbps upload for that same price ;_;....but yours is actually worse :(. /hug my guy..../hug.
What rural area that is? Very low population - i live near 200k pop city not in USA we have several fiber companies offering very fast and affordable service.
