Look, I know pre ordering is "taboo" and this is KONAMI we are talking about but.... think of the SLIGHT chance we may have to get a Suikoden 3 Remaster (the best in the series. sorry S2 fans, you know im correct).

Holy crap, I almost canceled my pre-order reading that.

About the most generous thing that can be said about Suikoden III is that it isn't the WORST in the series, and that's by a rather thin margin.

Also, Suikoden III doesn't deserve a remaster.

What it needs, is a full blown remake. The game is awful, but modern technology could probably go a long ways towards fixing that.

Aha sure, i havent played them all tens of times ofc not .Man you're crakcing me up. It is one thing for you to like 3 no dispute on that but come on now it is by far the worst of them all.I could write a whole essay about how bad 3 is .

There are a few shortcomings with 4 that is true like naval exploration is annoying with to many enemy encounters, the islands you come across feel empty and very small wich is a shame and 4 being i think the shortest suikoden of them all and another thing, the voice-over was a cringe fest,but overall the naval combat with runecannons,the battles even though it is the only entry in the series that has 4 man parties instead of 6 by far better than 3,the story,the characters,having a ship for HQ, and in general 4 is better than 3, not perfect by any margin but better than 3.

honestly I just love the franchise, so I will no matter how. I have only played 4 and 5 but I NEED more LORE! pls

Suikoden 3 was the only one I could not play. It missed the mark in my opinion. Suikoden 4 was okay, especially playing as Ted. I think Suikoden V made the game feel more Suikoden to me in the end.
