how old are you?
both suiko 1 and 2 is 100x times better than final fantasy games,even 7,.and this is come from FF fan like me.
it has everything,story,gameplay,character building,twist,different ending and so on.,just try to play the old one and you will understand.
the only downside is the publisher didnt support this series at all,diminishing any financial for publicity support and instead focusing on their stup1d pachinko.

I have only played FF 7,10,12,13 and in all of them you had 3 party members.

Yep, 7 was the first game in the series that had a party smaller then 4.

I mean, technically you either fight 1v1, Party v Party (I think you can have 6, but large creatures count as 2?), and then the full on RTS with armies.
