I think I prefer Water Margin a little better, but they are both good. One day I'll get round to reading Journey to the West and Dream of red chamber
Great character. It's a shame some of the important WM characters aren't attached to Suikoden characters with equal importance. Shi Jin gets Kirkis & Killey (at least in 1&2, haven't played the others)
I'm surprised the Lin Chong didn't get better characters too. He's presented as the hero most adaptations.
