In fact, looks like that Jowy is the only character that not have his portrait in HD in artwork and for that Junko Kawano had to redraw him again.
Eh, I could care less about these "remasters." You can just play Suikoden 1 and 2 on a Playstation emulator. It will look awesome with the graphic enhancements, and it's legal (if you own the games, like I do!)
What we really need is Eiyuden Chronicle!
Usually the "remasters" have turned out to be squalid commercial operations of pure speculation on the passion of gamers, but judging by the preview video, this time it seems that someone has really worked hard to give satisfaction to the fans of the saga, after many years (decades?!) of complete disinterest in us and the franchise.
I own this game for ps1, as a digital title for ps2, played it on the pc emulator and I really think I will buy full price as soon as it is released.
Nonetheless, I will also buy Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes.
This is the largest troll post of this forum. lol
Well he kinda is "spoiler" a backstabbing ♥♥♥♥♥.
Yeah, I do see a lot of subtle differences between the two. You're getting undeservedly crapped on for pointing it out by people who apparently need prescription lenses, lol.
Not sure how the new portrait makes him look more like a "bad guy," though. To me the new portrait style just looks slightly more bland and simplified. The shape of the mouth is the most immediately noticeable example, I think.
