did you get all 4 of the gates?
I checked again to be sure, I open the 4 gates (to free the anchorites) and the 6 links with the translation :(
I suggest you watch one of the many playthroughs there are out there to check what you may have missed.
#1: secret door
#2: secret door, connection dot
#3: connection dot
#4: nothing
#5: secret door, connection dot
#6: nothing
#7: connection dot
#8: secret door, connection dot
#9 (top): nothing
All the guides I've found say I should have a connection to make at terminal #1, but that conversation has already been replaced by the anchorite speaking with the local priest, possibly because I accidentally finished the secret door before translating the conversation? Is this what you're experiencing, Wave?
No, that's wrong. The 1st terminal is the connection between the Devotees and the Alchemists.
Right. But I don't have the option to translate that conversation anymore. It's not there.
You can't be "blocked" in this game and nothing disappears. You always have the possibilty to backtrack and find/view/activate what you missed the first time. All can be found and all achievements can be triggered.
If you think you're missing something, it's either because it was never there, or because you still have to find it.
For example, your list contains 9 terminals, but there are 10 of them to be found. Your list suggests you missed the first one.
That's exactly what it was. The first terminal I found was the bottom tier, lower right, and I incorrectly assumed the symbol on it was #1 (or, if it is #1, that there was a #0 somewhere :) ). Thanks for your help.
