The bards are... wankers, really. They look down on everyone above and below them, and have a clear class divide. There's a reason the bard-priest (or whatever lvl 1 guys were called) conversations has them leave for the abbey.
That said, the warriors look down on the priests, and see it as their duty to keep them out, but they worship the bards and love music. When they learn the priests have music too, they learn to like them. They literally murder intruders.
The priests have their prophet and their god, and see the climb as a divine mission. Considering the prophet abandoned his people to solo-climb, they're hardly without fault.
The alchemists are clearly careless in their experimentation, and have caused damage in their search for knowledge.
The Exiled sealed themselves away out of fear of others.
All the societies and people have their flaws, it's your job to bring them together.
The acolytes all seem pretty chill, the warriors are kinda ♥♥♥♥♥, the bellman is an alcoholic and someone wrote graffiti on his house about it, and the people in the final chapter use technology so much they're alienated from everyone including themselves. Those are all the ones I picked up on
The serfs are just slaves, exploited and who yearn to be free.
No, we definitely can. They literally say during the conversation with the devotees "We are not human. We are not free."
