Did you check Heaven's Vault? A main feature of that game is to decipher a language through various texts you find in ancient ruins

Try Obra Dinn and Case of the Golden Idol.

The art and the world looks similar to Sable, but not the rest.

Sable. This game looks exactly like that game. Game play is different though, more explore and solve some puzzles.
I second Heaven Vault. Main focus in that game is decoding the language.

I wouldn't say the graphics are exactly like Sable, but it does use the same graphics style. I'd say it shares the same aesthetic if anything.

I'd third the Heaven's Vault suggestion too.

Heaven's Vault is definitely the closest thing, but the big difference is its language is entirely fragmented inscriptions. You're forced to rely on deciphering the visual shape instead of actual context and usage. Also the compound glyphs got horrendously complicated and it wasn't really satisfying past a certain point personally.

7 days to end with you. It's a game where you are trying to decipher a language just like this game and try to understand whats going on.

I'd recommend Season: A Letter to the Future. It's similarly about exploring a world and puzzle-solving through various different cultures and deciphering the meaning of culturally-significant glyphs.
Heaven's Vault is a must if you are enjoying the language discovery.

In addition to Heaven's Vault as others have pointed out, I also recommend Sethian, a more intimate game solely focused on language learning

Aporia: Beyond The Valley is pretty similar.
I've heard Frog Fractions 2 has a language element eventually

if you didnt already played it : outer wilds (and the dlc but i reccomend buying it after completing the original game)
This game is a masterpiece. Not the same art but puzzles involving retrieving an ancient language

I was going to suggest this. I've been obsessed with Outer Wilds since I played it and am always looking for games that give me the same "wonder and discovery" vibes.
I was telling a friend that Chants is the first game that's given me those vibes.
Its going on the list of best games I've played, along with Outer Wilds and the Sexy Brutale.

I had to give up on Heaven's Vault. The controls are way too clunky and the translation mechanics just aren't fun for me.
I really REALLY wanted to enjoy it
