The game crashes my computer on game start.
Got a high-end machine that runs flawless. 20 Other games run fine, without crashes or stuttering. I can run CoD MW2 on the highest settings with +180 FPS on 3440x1440 but this crashes my Rig.
Talking of bad performance would be an understatement. I can’t even give this cash grab a bad review since I can’t get the playtime to give it a review at all.

There is negative mouse acceleration, stutters and low FPS on decent rigs. I am dropping down to 40 fps at 1080p dlss quality with my 3080ti that's the kind of poor performance we are talking about here. People are definitely going to give it a negative feedback if the experience is not stable, like how can you even enjoy a game when it stutters and chugs so much, the only way to have somewhat decent experience is locking fps down to 30 fps.

It’s on GFN cloud gaming etc :) runs lije a click there on optimized RTX 4080 commercial server hardware ! Like many AAA games these days, hard for our personal hardware to keep up ( cloud gaming is the future :)

Already refunded, especially since this only has 16:9 support. Did you know its 2023? Not 2018 where you could get away with that?
Besides, beta testing, is for betas. To buy a “Full-Release” to take part in that beta testing of yours is a joke. This game has massive technical issues.
And before someone asks: My RTX 4080 has the latest drivers. The latest Firmware and my windows are properly updated. As stated before 20 different games run fine on my PC but this game has some sort of serious memory leak which made my game crash.

So here is my take , the game is not bad but it has to little gameplay to be called a video-game , the audio , visuals is amazing but there is just to little game to justify those things. The developers got huge talent let's be honest , but next time maybe make it a little more interactive like the Amnesia series from fricional games , maybe more telltale based , maybe something like outlast 1 from redbarrel like people want to do something more then what is on offer , even when the cinematic experience is great.

Also props to the price for the video-game as it is a fair price point tbh.

Probably 50% of the reason.

The other is that BG3 and AC6 launches outshone it.

Also Baldur's Gate 3 and Armored Core VI both play more smoothly with lesser hardware requirements and support more PC features like ultrawide support.

Performance is atrocious because of the use of UE5, sure it's looks better IF you can run it all on ultra, even the 4090 can't get constant 60FPS on native

Doom Eternal can still give this game and Immortals of Aveum a run for their money visually. And play smoother with drastically lower hardware requirements.

UE5 has some serious overhead issues.

This game honestly looks slightly better then 2014 alien isolation and that game can even run on gtx 660.

I've noticed game runs significantly better on DX11 then 12

add the text -dx11 at the end the target line in properties of the shortcut

Then why did you choose UE5 when you are that small of a team? Do a good narrative game in pixel style: Profit

Please consider next time that your game actually has to sell, you will not be payed just for producting "art"

@Nobody - Thank you very much for that tip, that cleared up all the issues I was having. To return the favor forward to anyone else who finds this thread, if your GPU is significantly faster than your screen's refresh rate, your can turn on triple buffering and vsync in your GPU's settings, turn vsync off in this game's settings, and it runs smooth as butter with no screen tearing.

I think it failed because the full price value prospect isn't there. They got prime cut voice actors, but the story just stops when things go really off the rails, there is no redeeming aspect of the ending. Never felt do frustrated in a game being over in my life.
