Shipyard upgrades?

Got the second shipyard in tier 5 but it hasnt done anything cant make a bigger ship, Am i missing something?

Same, and I'm annoyed at seeing streamers post gameplay videos within the last 2 days showing shipyards offering 10-18 sections with ONLY T5/T6 unlocked. Still stuck on 8 sections myself, with T6 and 2nd shipyard.

it's a shame that one of the main features of the game has its progression bugged, And EA release on a weekend is not it.. Needs to be someone around to address these things ideally for the first week or two but eh it is what it is

I have found that in order to progress, you have to build a new shipyard every time you level up the shipyard BP. Been consistent for me that way.

My friends and I tried that but even with making a new shipyard it's still level 0

Tried rebuilding shipyard w each upgrade... zero effect. This is not an auspicious start.

Yup! Completely disappointed that I spent those two hard earned research points unlocking the tier 5 shipyard, only to find that after I rebuilt the shipyard, that it offered no improvement or extra slots for a ship. I keep telling myself to not buy early access games, but here I am, duped again.... Stuck waiting for major overhauls to the core game to hope it gets to an improved, playable state. *sigh*

first unlock will upgrade your shipyard lvl 0>lvl 1. after unlocking second tier, you will have shipyard lvl 1>lvl 2 that lets you make ship from 10 frames instead of 8

So you say that the First Update is usless ?
When i Unlock the Tier 0 Shipyard i can Build a Ship with 8 Frames
After Unlocking the Tier 2 Shipyard nothing Changes
BUT ! When i unlock (Finally after Spending so much points) the Tier 5 Shipyard will give me the 10 Frames for my ship ?

it is cumulative. you are unlocking shipyard blueprint lvl 0 at tier 2. after that you dont unlock new shipyard but add +1 lvl to it with each tech unlock regardless of order. you didnt waste anything, you need to do it twice. you couldve unlocked em in any order and result would still be same

i think it works as intended just doesnt explain how it works

So I get more frames at Shipyard Level 2 for the first time? (8 to 10)
