So...this feels like a pretty rough start.

So you are starting this with lies? First you say the game won't release until complete. NOW...We have Early access... and to top it off you promised 20% off and a cosmetic pack for those that already own Worlds Adrift. Yet I don't see my discount anywhere and all I see in comments and discussions is no body has gotten their 20% off and are wondering where it is.

The company lied before and were not honest with the community. Why should anyone trust you to not pull the rug after making your sales goal?

There is a simple solution to that : don't buy. You won't take any risk. Of course you're gonna miss out on the game, but you won't take any risk.

Also, this is not a server based game, so even if they "pulled the rug", what would it matter ? You'd still be able to play it.

@odovargames @ayaperiquito I feel like you are on the attack and it's unnecessary. If you take a sec to ready the FAQ and pinned posts you will see there is an issue right now with the 20% also that our Early Access reasons are fully laid out in the FAQ. There's simply no reason to be rude.

Hey, I had 400+ hours in WA and if you were above the age of 14 and have a brain you would understand there was no scamming involved.

A tradegy that it was shut down yes but no scam.

The pinned post is on the top of the discussion board.

Except failed EA games are not a Scam. These guys often get INVESTORS. If their investors do not see profits they pull their money and walk away. If Devs do not see the money they pull out. READ the Early Access Disclaimer very carefully as it clearly explains that buying an Early Access game is much like playing the lottery though it has a great % to win you the prize of a complted game.
There are far too many people out there that buy into EA games then want to hate on the game because they do not understand what they bought. I was one of those so I know first hand the why. I made some friend that help me understand a very small amount of what goes into getting a game to EA market. You buy these games you AGREE to participate in the DEVELOPMENT which in itself means an incomplete game.
Not looking to get into an argument with people honestly but this going after a developer for what another did is ignorant for one. Then add in that buying EA gives you 0 guarantee of anything more than what is there when you buy the game. Buying an online only game is super risky.
