There are no servers this time. It's all local. It's a single player and coop PVE game.
Also, I hope they add a "solo" mode. Not "friends only", not "invite only", just "♥♥♥♥ off and let me play by myself, thank you very much". And that whatevcer mode you chose remains set by default next time you launch the game.

I'm not going to say what they did was ethical but you do know that servers take money to run right? If the game didn't do well of course they couldn't keep it running.
They are a business first and foremost.
You probably lost what like 30 bucks back then? That's way better than them losing millions off a dying game.
