Pistol goes into rapid fire mode

After a while my pistol went into auto-fire mode, when I shoot a single shot.
As effect it empties the magazine - then keeps firing (ammo goes into negative) without inflicting further damage. Aim is hardly controllable, too, but that doesn't really matter at that point.
The bug returned with a new character in a new world.

Dropping the weapon, then picking it up again removes the negative ammo, so that's something.

Yea that's a common bug, a restart of the game fixes it for awhile. It seems to be tied to something else that triggers it. But hey, its a demo, and we're all helping them fix these bugs and make it better. Summit a report in the bugs section, they actually respond - which is nice!

The time when you reload your gun to have zero ammo in it ...

I found holding the pistol, reloading it, and then saving and relaunching the game seems to be a fix for now. Kept happening to my character until i did that atleast. Not sure what cuased it in ghe first place though

This happened to me so I stopped killing stuff and left that up to the rest of the squad. We unlocked shottys, I thought I would try my luck to see if that glitched.
It did and the recoil yeeted me off the map. RIP.
