Anyone else having problems saving the game?

Everytime I create a character, no matter what I do once I start playing and exit at any point, when I'm back in the main menu everything is gone!?? I've tried on my laptop and on my steam deck, the only one unaffected being the steam deck, but I dont want to play it on there since it already doesnt run well.

Do you have non-ascii characters in your user folder name? (ie C://Users/USERNAME)? It's caused some issues with saves for other folks in the Discord.

If that is the case, a workaround might be to create a new user profile on your machine and try to play the demo from there.

Same problem. Says saving, doesn't save. No weird chars.

Yeah - my 5 character BS arbitrarily assigned folder name has an underscore in it. I reached out to the devs on Twixter to see if the issue will be fixed while the demo is still live. I'll deal with a workaround tomorrow. Loving the game though - if all else fails, I'll just set aside 5-6 hours this weekend and see how far I can progress.

i have the same issue already have 4 diferent characters and im not wasting more time on this game until they have a fix and im loviing the concept!
