Instant crash

As title says as soon as i skip logos game crashes. Does anyone go through the same?

Similar issue here, splash screens load but then the screen goes black and after several minutes of nothing it will crash.

Tried all the usual things, validating files etc, I can only assume it's hardware incompatible for me, even after double checking the requirements listed.

Ah well was looking forward to trying this out when I saw a trailer, not anymore I guess.

Side note my GPU software clocks the game running at over 2000 fps, which doesn't seem quite right. hell of a lot of frames for a black screen.

same issue...click space bar and boom black screen.

I started a new world with the same character and that worked. However when I go back to the 1st world it gives that same black screen crash
