Add/remove wood panels from ship?

Is it possible? How?
Shipyard seems to automatically assign where wood panels will be built and I can't figure out how to change that.

Removing them is possible with the deconstructing function of the scan tool (bound to middle mouse by default).
Adding should be possible just using the build menu (I'm not sure exactly which category and subcategory, just have a look through them and I'm sure you'll find them). Or, I think it should, I've only ever built walls that way, not floor panels... but I'd guess they're in there too. Might be wrong.
