Cant do invite only or friends only?

I have to make my world public for my friends to join. When we do invite only or friends only no one is able to join when we invite or join off steam nothing happens. Some of my friends cant see the world in the world list when I make it public so its kind of bummer. Anyone else run into this?

world list is region locked for some reason, on top of invites not working at all

Same! Weirdly, my friends and I can all see the same list of public servers, but can't join each other no matter what setting we use. Anyone have a fix for this?

Same, and we had a nerd who stole our Tech Briefs because of it...
