After further experience, I cannot damage enemies now, but they sure can damage me. I can't interact with the death bag either.
I understand this isn't a problem for most, but I'm left handed and that area of my keyboard is the only one I can comfortably use without getting bad wrist cramps. Please, I ask you to consider this for me and many other lefties who like me need to find creative keybindings to play comfortably outside of the usual wasd
Not a problem on the demo, but might be an issue to think about for Early Access/Launch. Probably the same is possible for Power Cores.
-- initial launch via steam took an solid 30 seconds - 1 minute before the splash screen appeared.
-- after the splash screen appeared, and progressed through the logos, there was around 2 - 3 minutes of just an black screen where nothing was happening, despite the stable 30 fps the whole time. ( 30 fps is where i've set my system's global framerate cap. ).
-- upon the title screen, my controller's inputs were not being read as controller inputs, until i opened the settings menu via the laptop's touchpad. ( the controller was being read as if it were being used outside of the game, in the regular desktop. ).
-- within the settings menu, while scrolling up and down through the settings via the controller's d-pad, the selection boxes broke and became displaced. ( though they did snap back into place after going back to the top of the list, until then there were floating boxes selecting nothing over the list of settings. ).
-- during the character creation phase, the input mapping was partially broken for the controller in the hair style selection panel. ( could only go left or right, up and down were not responding. ).
-- after having played for an few hours, i noticed that in the item data entries, some of the icons were either mismatched, or just questionmarks.
-- after defeating creatures, such as the deer and manta-rays, there was seemingly no way to harvest their resources / materials. ( entirely possible that i'm just doing it far too early. ).
-- the player-made storages are unable to be accessed from by both the player, and other construction / cooking / etc devices around the island. ( i placed 1 container at the tip of the crashed ark ship, and some devices toward the back of it along the top. - neither my devices, my own self, or the ark computer within, could access the storage container, at least not without directly, manually accessing it. ).
-- i noticed the scanner also had an issue where the scan progress on an uncompleted target kept getting reset as soon as tracking was lost on the target. ( made scanning even one of the manta-ray creatures quite the nuisance. - hence how it came to me defeating one of them. ).
other than those, the only other issue ( at least that i noticed ) was the missing boarderless fullscreen-window mode option.
Deu: Wenn ich einen gegenstand auf die 4 ausrüste und dann es esse oder wechsel möchte, verbugt das Objekt im Inventar und lässt sich nicht mehr verschieben!
