Spirit Gone for Sujin's Quest

The spirit got away when I was chasing it and I couldn't find it again. I went to where it should be standing (by the old shrine) but Its not there. It doesn't spawn by her boat anymore either.

I think it leads you to a rock and you have to turn your vision on and then click on the rocks and it will say to move it? and then go into the hole and it will lead you to the abandon house.

I just experienced this issue as well. The update did not fix it for me. As soon as the spirit walked on the beach, it instantly disappeared. I had a full vision during this time so it wasn't as though it ran out during the chase. I found the rock, turned on my vision, and attempted to go to the next map, but nothing appeared. And the spirit does not show up anymore. So yay...buggy game.

So ya, just started this game in 2024, so everything should be updated, and I'm having the same problem where the spirits never appear on the far end of the secret tunnel. I see it's been over a month since someone mentioned that this problem is still happening, so... any chance you're going to do anything other than keep repeating (as in other threads) 'Update your game!', since that isn't fixing it? I really want to like this game, very Spirited Away, but it's not off to a great start.

You have to do the whole sequence again. I had this issue too, but another day when I went near the boat around 5:40 pm the spirit was there again.

Hi there,

I just found this thread and I'm sorry to hear people were having issues with this quest!
Just to be sure we're on the same page, you confront the spirit while it's painting the boat and then chase it down to the rocky tunnel, right? Then it disappears and you need to move the rock (by pressing a secret switch on the far left side of the rock). Once you go through the tunnel that appears the spirit should be standing by the water (if your spirit vision is on) near the old ruined building. This is the location that's not too far from the bathhouse, up on the mountain.

Are you playing on Steam (or steam deck)? If so, if you wouldn't mind sending me your save file in a Discord DM (if you join the Spirittea discord you can find me there > https://discord.gg/spirittea) then I can boot up your save and figure out why the spirit isn't showing up in your specific case (and maybe find the reason why others were also not able to find it).

Never mind. I found my problem. I was going into the tunnel before turning on my spirit vision. Once I turned it on before, it worked.

It shouldn't matter whether the tea vision is on before entering the tunnel but, either way, I'm very happy to hear it's working for you! :)
