Frustrating Bug Where Character Gets Stuck In Walking Animation :(

I am having issues with the movement keys "locking" and my character will keep walking infinitely in one direction until it walks into something and the movement unlocks again. I think there might also be a delay where a walk button seems to not be responding so I'll click a few of them only to have the character suddenly move in all the ways I'd pressed previously all at once. If this was a rare glitch it would be tolerable for the time being but it happens like every ten minutes and it sucks to run halfway across the map in the wrong direction and unable to change it. Not sure if other people have had it but I be really happy to see it fixed in the next patch.

sounds like a lag. i remember having this issue with other games before when there was a network lag of sorts. does yours happen with every gameplay or just the one gameplay?

It happens every time I play the game and it's gotten worse to where it happens every few minutes. Lag was the word I was missing, I believe that is exactly what it is. My computer can run some decently beefy games without lag so I don't know if there is a compatibility issue or something going on. Maybe I will test out completely shutting off Discord and Opera to see if that helps since it has with the high demand games I've played but this doesn't seem like a game that should need a ton of RAM to function. I otherwise love the game but the lag is really frustrating to play with and stops me from getting lost in the game like I want.

Hey Riptide! This sounds super weird! Unfortunately it very much sounds like something is happening on the hardware side, rather than the game side. Do you have any sort of weird device plugged in via USB? Have you tried restarting the game? Does it happen on controller too? Bit hard to diagnose without seeing it, but it's likely an easy fix
