Bug fix please

Ok so I started a new game play as I put the game down for a while and when I picked it up again I needed to restart the game to learn to play...... not important but now you know.

I started the save to play on controller (no idea if its controller specific bug or not)
and the quest to activate your spirit vision would not activate when I went to the spot where there is a lot of sweet things.
I tried going in and out of the store to no avail and when I restarted the save and sat through the whole start of the game again through Keyboard... got to the same quest spot and went to the same location the quest activated and I could proceed through the story line.
Please fix, I found a post on reddit that said that this bug can happen when playing on controller which is why I started a new save file on keyboard to see if that would work.

Hi there. I'm sorry you ran into this bug as well. It's a very weird one that seems to happen seemingly randomly with controllers (something to do with how the controller is hooked up (bluetooth vs wired) and also related to whether it's controller 1 or 2 etc). The good news is that you don't need to choose a control style for a whole playthrough. You can freely switch between keyboard and controller anytime (I believe moving the joystick on the controller will trigger the game to switch to that control scheme, whereas pressing some of the current keyboard keybindings, like the movement keys, should switch it back to keyboard controls).
