Brush/broom bug?

Love the game so far! It's addictive and really cute. I do seem to have an issue though:
I was using the brush to scrub the floors and clean up. It was working fine until I upgraded the private bath and now no matter how long I scrub, no dirt gets cleaned. Same with the duster. I don't think it's doing anything when I try to scrub spirits in the bath too. Anyone else had this?

I didn't even know it was possible to clean the bathhouse! Where do you get a brush/broom? I haven't seen one for sale at the store I don't think...

they're against the wall in the bathhouse kitchen. there's one of the ceiling and one for the floors

I had the same issue and restarting the game fixed it right up for me!

I cleaned a few tiles and it worked fine, did a few spiderwebs with the ceiling brush, and they both randomly stopped working... couldn't see any specific reason
