- Weird crash! We'll look into it and make sure it's fixed for launch
- Some of the townspeople are clipping because their animations aren't finished -- they will be finished for launch, no worries about that
- The splitting sentences is definitely something we know about, but unfortunately it's a HUGE job to fix. May be a future update if enough people mention it, but it really is weeks of work so not a quick thing
- The icons currently show over the AREA the person is in. So they are correct, but rather than being EXACTLY where the person is, it's telling you the area of the map they are in
- Mouse control is being considered for a future update
- You're right, some of the minigames do need a better tutorial -- we're working on that!
- Hmm it sounds like perhaps you're misunderstanding the fishing, or pressing the wrong button -- it's definitely working! Could you try the action button to reel? Or perhaps you're aiming the hook in the opposite direction?
- Hint for the soup quest: Julian said he lent the recipe to Tifa...
Hope that all helps, and thanks for playing!
-I don't think I am misunderstanding the fishing... I am pressing left shift to "reel in" but it doesn't do anything but lower the bobber meter more. I have also tried with E and enter but neither work. I am making sure the hook is pointed towards the fish even though the controls are flipped....
-I think you misunderstood my question about the soup quest.. this isn't the one for the spirit in Julian's restaurant but instead the one that keeps popping up in my text box. I know he wants soup but I don't know what kind and all the types of soup I have made/bought haven't done anything. Its really annoying to have it keep popping up an having no idea how to fix it!
Again thank you guys so much! this is an awesome game and I know working out these little things can be a pain.
Here is a video of me trying to fish. Left shift is set as my interaction button but I have tried other keys. Maybe I am just misunderstanding how it works but I have tried many different things.

Regarding the spirit: What kind of noodles? Does it just need to be in my inventory?
My immediate thought is: are you holding the movement keys/joystick (depending on your control method) in the opposite direction of the fish while you attempt to reel the fish? Just to clarify, not just pointing the "hook" at the fish and letting go of the movement keys/joystick but also holding the keys/joystick to keep the hook pointed? It's meant to feel like you're "pulling" against the fish.
With regards to the noodles: I believe the spirit's spilt noodles were spicy curry noodles... ;)
thanks! that does seem to work but is very tricky to get with a keyboard... would reccomend making it easier (at least for beginner fish) with more time to reel in the fish.
I have tried spicy curry noodles with no reaction but I will try a bit more...
Just want to add that the crash when picking up a dropped bug bottle happens every time. Usually I will pick it up and it will disappear and I can walk around but not take anything out of my inventory. My avatar looks like its holding something invisible but I cant drop it. the crash happens when interacting with other objects or sometimes just when walking around.
I've tried to replicate this crash to no success so far, however I added some code that will hopefully help you and anyone else who encounters it.
did you 'buy' the noodles somewhere or did you get it via a random recipe at the shop? (looking at the shop for 3days now)
