Feedback from Demo
Just tried the demo and would like to suggest providing mouse and keyboard option like Stardew Valley. Seems like the controls are mapped for controller based on the setting screen. Are there plans to include m/kb support in the future to improve accessibility?

My feedback is that there just isn't enough to make a real accurate review a lot of game demos have this issue not just this one you want us to gain an idea of what your game offers and typically i wouldn't worry too much but i actually think this game will get popular but there needs to be a bit more to do in the demo not just seeing the opening and the first night open it up so we can see how the game mechanics work you don't have to do a lot but let us at least start getting a gross started and see how it is otherwise an accurate review is impossible. I do very much look forward to where this game will go from here and do hope that more play content is shown for those who want to know more about it.

Hey there folks, thanks so much for playing!! We're still working out what sort of control schemes would fit the game - we'll definitely keep an eye on what folks find most comfortable!

Good mouse and keyboard controls should be a given for a game on Steam. I was surprised at the lack of mouse control and how bad the keyboard mapping is. Otherwise, loved the demo!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you loved it! What keyboard mappings would you have preferred? It would be great to note that down - did you end up using that mapping by remapping in the options? =]

Glad to finally see this demo and trying it. Ran through it two times and overall I think this will end up being good. Was part of the Kickstarter so I was a bit partial already. : P

One thing though. My game actually stopped working at I think 4am in the morning (in game). Just could not move anymore. Not sure if that is a bug.

Also the sawing of woods takes a bit long. I also hope there will end up being ways to handle the myriad of hinted tasks that might be available in the full release. Would love for the game to feel cozy and not stressing.

But overall really liked the demo.

Thanks for the feedback (and the bug!), I'm excited for you to play the full version!!

I'd love to see the characters take off their shoes whenever they enter a house to really make the game more immersive if this isn't too difficult. I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, and I'm really excited to see the demo!

The game is cute, and I am looking forward to the release.
The controls are a bit odd. Having to use an in-game keyboard to enter names on a PC is a frustrating start. I am not sold on JKU shortcut keys either, but I expect this can be rebound on release.

I definitely had audio, so I don't know what might have been happening in your case.

I agree that my game just stopped working at 4 AM, but I figured the demo probably wasn't taking you past your first day, since leaving the bathhouse meant leaving the demo. But it was fun! I could see there is a lot of potential of things to do in the bathhouse! I'm pretty excited!
The music is great. I actually had to unplug my headphones so my husband could jam with me during the song that plays while you're on the bus. (Note: that also led to the game freezing up for me. I have some pre-installed software that pops up anytime my headphones get plugged in to make sure my audio settings are correct for my headphones or earbuds or speakers, etc. It's messed with some other games before both with unplugging and pluggin in my headphones. Just FYI for the developers, in case this is a thing other people deal with.) I really like the emoticons and the cat! He's great!
My only complaints were the game freezing up a bit, the swearing, and the running around inside. I just feel for a game that's chill like this, swearing just takes it down in quality and desirability for myself and others; the swearing just doesn't need to be in there. Especially since the cat was plenty funny without it! I guess one thing is there were so many customers, I just felt like I was running around and couldn't take a break to leave and go to bed or go chat with people in the village or anything like that because there's just not enough time. Maybe have the customers come in a bit slower? And as features get added, like those back rubs we were told we could do, there's no time for it! But that could also be because it's the demo.
One final thing is, why were the spirits angry every time I put their towel down? They'd have the angry emoticon, then they'd laugh with their neighbors for the rest of their stay. Just wondering...

One thing I noticed is that if you change the key maps from their defaults, the tutorials won't change to reflect the new keys.

Loved the demo and am looking forward to the release. I can see myself spending loads of time playing this. A more sensible keyboard mapping is something that certainly need to be worked out. And controller support for other than steam controller if you're going to with controller style.

I support key-remapping options. Also, I noticed that certain actions tend to 'stick' - when running around the bathhouse, going from one room to the next, I couldn't hold J+D to keep running right. I had to release both keys, wait a second, and then hit D, and then hit J. Similarly, when hanging up the towels, I sometimes could hammer the K key and sometimes had to wait a full second between presses. This makes for a kind of jarring experience and means I'm grappling with the controls more than paying attention to the game. I'm not sure what a fix for this would be but it'd definitely be appreciated if that could be addressed somehow!

An always-run option like Stardew and some other games have would be nice.

Lastly, I know a few left-handed gamers and was surprised by how much of a difference control schemes make to an enjoyable experience. Key-remapping will probably cover that, but it might be worth keeping an eye out for left-handed responses in particular. I'd love to recommend this to my friend but I don't want to get her hopes up again.

Other than that, really enjoyable demo :3 The premise and art are great, and if you can smooth out the controls and some QoL you're gonna have a real winner on your hands.
