In the game "help" section, pg. 4, diagram 6 "Shields". I have not been able to get through a game with Shields as, as I understand it, I have to make combos of the gem shown inside the Shield, but those gems are not an option on the board! Very frustrating. Help!
@Grey Alien - I've previously bought these on Big Fish Games but it seems that I've taken up residence on Steam now and for the foreseeable future. I feel much more at home here and I welcome the community pages. BFG disabled theirs a few years back. Bad move.
Thank you for your previous help. Much appreciated.
Now ... What on earth does the rotating double ended telescope do? It confounds me.
You're welcome for the earlier help. :)
As for the rotating telescopes, if you mean the moving thingies that you get sometimes for making a match of 4 tiles (you either get one of these things or you get a joker gem that matches anything) - those are called "carriages" in the game and if you click on a carriage it sends out a few missiles which hit random squares in the room. If you match next to a carriage to move it around, the more it gets moved around, the more missiles will come out of it when you set it off. The missiles mostly go in whatever direction the carriage is facing when you set it off. There are also moving bombs which you can get for bigger matches that will clear out the adjacent squares when you click on them. Matching next to a moving bomb will move it one space as well as grow the bomb a little bigger; the bigger the bomb grows, the more squares it clears when exploded.
