Save alteration / creating a loading point
So I found a way to "load" before a battle, if the RNG is completely unfair. It's extremely simple, and I hope the dev doesn't change this, because the game is unplayable with the RNG.

You go to load a save. Below the save's title, there are two little icons, a trashcan (that deletes the savefile) and a folder. If you press on the folder, it opens up the, duh, folder. Then, going to its parent folder, you see all the savefiles.

There, you can simply copy and paste the savefile. This will create a new entry when loading, which is the prior state. Actually changing the folder's name will act as if you're manually saving too.

So if you do this before a battle, then play the battle, then RNG decimates you even though you have 1000 times better units than them, you can simply load the copy of the file, and replay the battle. When finally the battle works as it should and you win, you can either continue playing, or simply rename the copy to the original gamefile's name.

Note that when you load the copy, you have to do the same thing and copy this copy, to create another loading point.

It's not a lot, but it's something.

EDIT: Just tested this and it works even when the battle is currently active. So you can make a save point before running the battle itself, while the battle is open.

I restarted a whole game and started playing like this. Honestly, the amount of battles I lost and had to reload is insane. 3 horsemen versus 3 tribesmen, and I lost 3 times, and won the fourth.

I hate having to do this, and tbh, it would be better if the loot was simply not lost, or the battles were more strategic. Three horsemen should *always* win against three tribesmen. Remember, tribesmen are the level 0 unit, just a normal villager kind of unit. To create a horseman you need a bow and a horse, so I'd say they're level 2. Three mounted people with bows, lost to three simple peasants. And it happened three times in a row xD

However, I have to say that with this save/reload the game is MUCH more enjoyable.
