Two Worlds: A Question about the ending

After taking either option and killing Gando or the Knights, a few seconds later the game exits to the main menu--is this meant to happen? I just replayed this game, and i thought the first time i played back when the game came out in 2007-?, that after the endgame, i was able to free roam play and complete any unfinished quests. Maybe my memory is faulty, but exiting to main menu just gave me a severe wtf moment.

And, does anyone know what is different between the epic and the original edition.

Hi, cheers for the reply. I found the ending really abrupt, and before i posted my question i reloaded and killed everyone a number of times thinking the game had crashed to the main menu which it did once or twice previously when i was fighting skeletons in a cave.

The epic edition has all the DLC that came out for Two Worlds. Non-epic edition (the original edition) did not. I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of at the moment!

Hi, cheers, all good with the late reply. I'm fairly late myself. I've only just started gaming again after not gaming since 2012, which is like a scary 11 years ago. Currently going through my games of yesteryear. Doing Stalker SOC at the moment. I didn't realise there was DLC with 2 worlds. I'll have a look when I get through the Stalker games.

Your question is a long time ago, but since "balmzzz" wrote nonsense, I'll answer again. No, that's not how it's supposed to be. You can't continue playing, but after the fight there is an end video, which is not played in the pc version. This also applies to all cutscenes. You can watch them in the games directory in the "video" folder.

The Epic Edition comes with Patch V1.7, adds new contend (soundtrack) and the multiplayer Add-On "Tainted Blood" as far as I know.
