Anyways ....
It does not work with the icon created by steam...
Go to your folder where the game is installed (path see above) and create a desktop icon from this folder instead (right click on Two Worlds.exe or Two Worlds_Radeon.exe and send it to your desktop). Now patch the .exe with the 4GB patch. As long as your Steam library is running in the background and you're onlinine (Steam -> go off/online) it will be okay.
Again as I said above: You need the patch to host a multiplayer lobby, otherwise the game will crash.
