I just purchased the Two Worlds bundle, and also the Strategy Guide. I can access the guide from the Steam client, but can't download it.
This is exactly what I see http://imgur.com/WTHJEYH
The boxed is check but it clearly says the guide is not installed and when I search the directory no pdf can be found and the only .exe files are TwoWorlds.exe TwoWorlds_RADEON.exe and the Physx installer.
Did you look at the image I linked? Your questions were answered by it.
It was purchased 3/21/16 and the whole point of my post is that it will not download even though the install box is checked in the dlc section of the game page.
I have done a file validation and even removed reinstalled the game but the dlc/guide will not install.
The guides for Two Worlds II games were installed perfectly and work well and can be opened with right mouse button over the title of the game, in the same menu that starts game.
But about the guide for "Two Worlds Epic Edition"; I never achieved to install it, like if the file does not exist or there is some problem with automatic installation after buy it.
I have tried many things, validation, restore caché, uninstall-install, mark-unmark install boxes, etc ... and nothing solve the problem, and this is a pity because the game is a very enjoyable experience (the feeling when exploring new places, change tactics, the interesting magic and alchemy possibilities and combinations... sometimes recalls me the good memories of Morrowind and Gothic III, it is a classic beautiful game).
About the guide format, it was good idea to make it like an exe-application, with included reader to guarantee its accessibility to all users without need of external programs; but maybe the pdf format, like it is very estándar format actually, it could be more easy to read while you are playing (less resources used and less probability of apps incompatibilities).
Is the guide available in the game oficial webpage?
