I dont want to state that playing multiplayer makes no sence, but it is what I experienced.
For some reason, after having used task manager to exit from the game, my character was reset back to level 1 and given all the default gear. Not a real loss considering I was only level 2, but strange nonetheless.
The server crashes frequently and sometimes the support thinks that somebody cheated.
When either one of those events happen, then your characters are reset to the state to about 1 week ago or more (to the last backup).
Backups are only seldomly made, which is why you loose so much progress.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
The files needed to host a private server are not available because TopWare doesnt want to publish them. Ive already asked.
If the server is down, then you can ask the Two Worlds support to restart the server, and they will do it quite fast. The guy even responded on sunday !!! But be aware that you will probably loose your save files.
I really love the multiplayer, but I lost one 20 hour and one 15 hour character because of the reset. So I finally lost interest in this game...
My suggestion is to stick to singleplayer.
Thing is, it didn't used to be like that. I wonder why it happens since the last 2 years..
I dont really understand why they do it. They should finally delete their crappy servers and give us the server files so we can maintain our own *working* server.
Seriously I would even pay the few bucks for server cost...
Goto Steam -> right click on Two World ->manage -> serial key
Hi,
How do you d that please?
A few hours, maybe a day. The last breakdown yesterday took about 15 - 16 hours (for all three servers) to fix.
