About the quests on the map ..

I was wondering if someone could better explain to me the map as it relates to quests. I started using it more to find where to hand in quests but I am not sure I have found consistency or well exactly how it works. I went to blinking areas thinking that is where quests are to hand in but that is not always the case. At least that has been my experience. So with everything I have seen I don't know what to think. I enjoy playing this game and love walking all over the world but I also am going to die one day so I'd like to get to Two Worlds II and other games before it is over with. : ) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I have looked at the manual and the guide that I found in my game folder. It just didn't answer things related to quests as in depth as I needed. I get what is the main story set of quests now so that was good help but need more help for sure.

Some Quest Goals are blinking on the Map, mostly for the Main Quests but Sidequests do not have Quest markers as well, so it is up to you exploring the Area and find the Quest Goals by yourself, listening to the NPC's can be useful to get informations about the Location.
If you don't progress and it get's frustrating look for a Walkthrough Online.
