Two Worlds: Epic Edition

Animation lag while moving
Game works completely fine zero crashes and everything but my character is extremly laggy while moving and thats hurting a bit while watching for a longer time. Any fixes? Already experimented with graphic settings they dont seem to change that.

Well, the animations in game are very poor quality, they have small amount of frames so movement feels like it is ''lagging''.

If you still want to try this:
  1. Open File Explorer (can use Windows key + E keyboard shortcut).

  2. Navigate to the base game folder.

    It is located here:
    <path-to-game>\
See here[www.pcgamingwiki.com] for how to navigate to "<path-to-game>".

    More information available on PCGamingWiki[www.pcgamingwiki.com].

  3. Right-click a blank area in File Explorer, and then mouseover the New menu option, and then click Text Document.

  4. Open the file and add in (e.g. can copy and paste) the options from the linked guide.

Set them as you fit, or according to the guide.

  5. Save the file as "AutoexecGame.con", and then close it.

  6. It should retain the ".con" file extension instead of ".txt"; if it doesn't, then rename the file (can use F2 key with the file selected in File Explorer) and make sure that it is named "AutoexecGame.con".

If you get a warning dialog asking if you're sure you want to change the file extension, click the Yes button.

You can edit the file at anytime in any text editor, e.g. Notepad. Just make sure to select Open with and then choose the text editor when you open the file.

Another thing worth mentioning is the Two Worlds Control Panel mod which you can use to tweak the game and manage mods for it too. This mod actually creates the "AutoexexGame.con" file for you and has at least most of the same options easily configurable in its interface.
