Can't zoom in on char's face during character creation

During character creation the character model stays exactly the same, I can only move him around left and right, but I can't zoom in to see him closer, so it's really hard to adjust his facial features.

I've tried using the middle mouse wheel, right-clicking, left-clicking, nothing works. Is it a bug or is there some kind of a special button combo? A Let's Play made it seems like the game is supposed to zoom in automatically when you select face options, which doesn't happen for me.

I would also like to know this. First time as able get a close up somehow but have not been able so it since.

The scroll wheel on your mouse should let you zoom in on the face. I don't remember being able to do that before, but maybe it never occurred to me to use the mouse wheel. Anyway, it works for me now.
