Can't type the cd key.

when i go to multiplayer and the boxes show up. NOTHING WORKS> I can't fill the boxes with neither numbers nor letters. All that I can add to the boxes is [][][][ those fill the boxes, in rest if I press anything nothing gets added to the boxes. As if my keyboard would be disconnected.

Any idea?

if i run the game from the game's folder, not through steam it works. So how do i fix this? It seems to be caused by steam

how do you get to the game folder?

well 1 easy way is to click the game in steam, go to proeprties, click "Local files" tab and then click "Browse to the game files" or something. Else you can go manually to the steam folder/steamapps/common/ game name (Folder)
