Ruined Dungeon, Challenge 1

How do I pass a level? There were 5-6 attempts, different classes, but nothing works. The ghost flies slower than I would like.
All the other challenges passed, they were much easier. Is there some secret here?

Crusader Berserker
Go for Size + Colorless Glyph and instant kill passive.
Grab aura + aura size 30/60
Stand on top of the crystal to block the projectiles with your face and the ghosts that come in. I did this and crystal was at maybe 60-70% HP by the end.

Yeah this one was really easy, I just stood in 1 spot and waited for the ghosts.

I think you guys are giving him advice on challenge 2. If I remember right, challenge 1 was the one with the neverending shadows phase, where you take damage upon using abilities and the ghost enemies heal you to full upon contact.

If so, I think I used quickling summoner for that one, though I don't recommend it. The summoned adds still destroy the ghosts even though they are good things here, and you don't want them gobbling your heal should you happen to need it. Nomad or Merchant are probably better picks by far (don't go Voidwalker whatever you do, as each puddle you drop counts as an ability; you will die within seconds).

That said, it wasn't often that my health dipped low. Just avoid choosing most abilities, as you don't want anything which activates frequently and thus damages you frequently. I think I used Colorless Glyph and... erm. Purifying Circle, or whatever it was called. Those two, along with the quickling weapon skill, were my damage. I went heavy on the passives (started with defense, evade, and HP regen, avoided SP boosts and any levels in Ascension beyond level 2) along with those and didn't have much trouble with anything. If stuff got dicey, zoooooooom to safety. Used the wake and friction weapon skill evolutions, though friction isn't so good here since it likes to proc upon touching the ghosts, blowing your heal up.

Dong, you may be right. Knight Berserker/Nomad can do challenge 1 with little issue.

That's it, finally passed. Took the crusader + nomad. Purifying Circle and passive skills for duration, critical damage, increase critical damage, experience, health, damage, blowing up enemies and shield. Evolution taken for 100% holy aura damage and aura increase.
All current achievements received.
