Spirit Box "Ghost only answers when you're alone" Question

Hello Community,

I have a question about the Line "Ghost only answers when you're alone" in terms of range. In Phasmophobia, it's enough for everyone else to just leave the room you are in for this to trigger. But how about in Demonologist? Can I just send everyone out of the room, or do people have to literally leave the entire House / Scene?

We are currently doing the latter, and it's very annoying because it takes forever to walk out of many of the locations.
