Put the dead rats in the boiler?

got a different side quest than usual while dealing with a Yuri to put the dead rats in the boiler... in the first map, but i never saw a boiler.. any ideas?

I got the same quest in the Abandoned House with a Mare. Spent a solid 20 min looking and couldnt find a boiler. Maybe I'm blind but I cut my losses before it decided to hunt me so I might have missed it but not likely

i figured it out.. theres a boiling cauldron and you use E to put the rats in... but i cant seem to find a third rat yet

put all 3 rats in the boiler on the house, and the hospital. nothing happened :/

I haven't seen a boiling cauldron anywhere, do you know where it is in the house map?

Pretty sure it can be in different places. I found it in the room with the dress the first time.

It is a black cauldron about knee-waist height with bubbling red liquid inside (not glowing liquid). Can be hard to see in the dark. It does make some noise though so you can try and find it a bit easier with that when nearby.
I have yet to get that objective on the first map so unfortunately I can't help with potential spots there.

I found one spot , the back room across from the Library, just to the right of the mannequin. For the Abandon House map.

Yeah, putting all rats in just makes a black kinda smoke meaning you've finished the side objective
