Safe after Exorcism?

After completing the exorcism in one of the locations in Demonologist, are you safe to explore? I know I was playing with friends and we completed the exorcism but then while exploring my vision got blurry and I hear whispering. Is this just part of the jump scares in the house, and it is safe to continue exploring? Or can the ghost rear it's ugly head and hunt you down after the exorcism?

My friends and I get the same thing. Not sure what it could mean exactly, or why it continues. I've spent plenty of time and at near 0% sanity with my crew after a successful exorcism. We still see lots of different things sometimes, especially the blurry vision thing(which apparently means, you've been "cursed"). For sure some things will be revealed or a reasoning as to why. It is safe enough otherwise though, if your not trying to avoid having a heart attack.

Well, sorry I rambled about then. Yea, your safe from legit hunts that will kill you. :P I just wanted to push detail and possible bigger things going on in game.
