I get that it's EA, but right now the content available is extremely limited. I can understand that, though. It is really just version .12
The bigger issues are the other things wrong with it. The evidence collection is garbage right now, and it needs more variety. The random jump scares that don't have anything to do with the actual ghost you are hunting actually detract from the game. When you get random jump scares they should interact with your evidence collection more. The jump scares should only happen when the actual ghost you are hunting is present with you in your location.
Not a fan of the idea of the ghost being "stuck" to a room. That makes the game static and boring. To hide this they make the evidence collection totally wonky and random. Evidence collection should be done trying to chase the ghost and interact with it, not just randomly happening with random jump scare events.
It's not really a better Phasma. More like a prettier Phasma with more extraneous stuff happening that doesn't really work with the mechanics.
Still has a long way to go.
White knight. Delete.
it's just the facade.
Demono :
- There is no entity (ghost) apart from hunts, but one room is designated to be the ghost room.
It allows to generate evidences for the player tools and spawn the ghost for hunts.
- Jumpscare (script) are static and they are put everywhere in the house. (nothing to do with ghost)
Their activations are a random factor when you are near or go through the trigger.
- Spoken only serves to trigger certain jumpscare and provides evidence for the spiritbox.
Phasmo :
- An entity (ghost) is present but invisible to the player.
- the entity walks around the house, even if it has a favorite room to which it will often return.
- When she approaches certain elements or the player in the house, she has the choice to make an interaction, a paranormal event or nothing.
- The ghost can answer you either vocally or by interaction and if he is close to you.
- All events are procedural and not static.
- Each ghost has very specific personalities.
In comparison, on the deep gameplay of these two games, it has nothing to do but it's not with updates that they will "fix" the gamecore of Demono which for me remains ****.
The only good things about demono are the graphics and the character and lobby customization.
Phasmo is above all a ghost simulation.
Why you looking at his profile instead of reading what he said? That's exactly why people set their profiles to private, mind ya business.
Edit: Also, the game doesn't suck and is actually quite fun.
