Imagine if Call of Duty didn't give you any XP or progress of any sort if you go negative in a given multiplayer match even though it is a normal occurrence. That's what this game does.
Dying is A. possible, no matter how easy it is to avoid, and B. locks the dead player out of rewards if it happens too soon. The actual difficulty of the task doesn't matter it's just a dumb design choice. Imagine an investigation on the hardest settings that takes 40 min to complete but you die 10 min in and before you can pick a ghost. The rest of your team not only enjoy the spoils of victory while you get nothing-- you get nothing no matter how much you contributed or how long you sat and watched. And that's ridiculously stupid.
If your friend succeed we should at least get a % of the rewards.
You can hear the 'demon' you're hunting, can't you? Why shouldn't you be able to hear dead players? We're ghost/demon hunters attuned to the paranormal; it's stupid you can't hear dead players in Phas.
You shouldn't be able to hear dead players like they're still alive because you can't hear the ghost like they're alive.
I found that a bit of a crappy thing. It's useful, for sure, and I know you can just use a 3rd party voice enabled app to bypass game restrictions but it really doesn't make any - in world - sense that you can hear a live player and a dead player in exactly the same fashion.
If you could hear them through the spirit box and it was distorted or you could pick up the board and they could signal to you what they wanted to tell you - that would make sense.
But not like it is now.
Absolutely agree with this! I hope they do add something for dead players to do - game is pretty boring if you die and have nothing to do and won't get any rewards after the game is finished. Just feel like I'm wasting time at that point.
