What constitutes a 'hiding spot'?

Is there hiding spots? How do you get away from a hunt? Seems to sometimes just come right at me no matter where or how far I am. Other times, I can run away no problem. Trying to figure out if there's better 'rooms' or bathrooms/closets to hide in or not.

There are some. You can hide in closets upstairs in cyclone st behind closed doors (just be quiet!) or the bedroom in the basement.

abandoned house: There is 1 spot. Hospital there are quite a few rooms you can hide in.

My buddy and I have been using these room and are quiet, and they still come after us and we die. I know we are quiet as we mute our mics.

can think of three possiblities personally, you possibly had an iblis (strength: you can't hide from the iblis, only run/loop it as it always knows where people are), got unlucky with it's hunt pathing(seems to randomly pick a room to check, but usually a nearby one), or someone got spotted as they entered.
