I am sorry to burst your bubble, but we didn't have any updates in over 5 months, and most content is copy-pasted from assets that totally don't take 3-5 months to implement. The game is built in blueprints, hence the terrible performance. It doesn't take long to write scripts using blueprints and integrate assets from the market place.
This game seems abandoned. They also don't like when people say stuff like this, because it is the truth and nobody will buy the game ever again. They made hundreds of thousands of dollars by only investing about $3,000 and about 200 hours of time. Most players have more playtime than the developers spent working on the game itself combined.
This is a scam of a game. I have no issues with games using assets, but I have an issue when games have development cycles like they are making the assets from scratch. It doesn't take longer than 80 hours to find, design, implement and test a map for a game like this if you already have the blueprint template and the assets.
tbf with any game there is no real promise of an ongoing development cycle, you do expect bugs to be fixed, but thats about it.
Sure there could be more to it, but at the end of the day it's fine for what it is, and it's not that expensive, considering DLC for empty shell AAA games are almost the same price as this.
If you want to call something a scam, try a Paradox game.
