Comunicar un error de traducción
and no....downloading another app to (potentially) make it work is not a satisfying solution and should never be.
strange thing is that communicating with each other ingame works fine.
but all voice triggers do not work at all. so this is definitely a game and not client issue.
yeah I picked this up over Phasmo because it looked a lot more polished in almost every way. but this issue is a huge letdown.
You're welcome!
It's actually been an issue since October of last year if I recall correctly, we're soon coming up on the one year anniversary of the update they released that caused the mic issue. It's a fun game, shame they can't fix something like this after so long.
I fully understand not wanting to download software for a game to function normally, but if you happen to meet the requirements for NVIDIA broadcast, I assure you it will work and takes less than 5 minutes to get it working. Best of luck!
I'm just curious. might give it a try later.
It will have to run in the background unfortunately, but you can set it and forget it. Once you set it up and close out of it, it'll just sit at the bottom right of the taskbar just like the NVIDIA control panel, MSI afterburner, Steam, etc. If you use other programs to speak such as Discord, Microsoft Teams, etc. then you can select broadcast as your mic input for those too so you don't have to keep changing mic input. In the broadcast app settings, you can also set it to auto-launch whenever you turn your PC on so you don't have to worry about it. Set it all up once and you're good to go.
not ideal but a temp workaround...as I tend to use as few background processes as possible...heck I don't even installed GeForce Experience Center as it's just a bloated piece of unneeded software for me
thanks a bunch for the replies and infos.
I will give it a try.
Yea no worries!
You can turn off Nvidia Broadcast specifically for your mic and leave it off for your headset speakers. Do that, and it should allow you to have all of your audio enhancements working the way they normally do. Just click the dropdown menu near the far right of the taskbar, and then when you find Nvidia Broadcast, right click it to open up a menu for it. Uncheck speaker and you should be good to go.
can't disable anything in that drop down menu (light greyish non clickable).
Hmm, maybe you're on a different version than what I have. Try clicking the "Show Nvidia Broadcast Option" or launch the program proper rather than going to that menu. There should be an option in there to limit what Nvidia Broadcast is applying itself to.
