New headset, mic not working in-game

I bought a new headset (Hyper X Cloud Alpha S) a few days ago as my old Steel Series is being held together with duct-tape and happy thoughts. When I try to play Demonologist, I cannot get the mic to work with the Spirit Box or the in-game triggers such as the Ouija board or the Magna painting.

The mic is detected in the Audio tab and I can hear my voice in playback when I test under the game's Audio settings tab but it won't function during play.

I went through the steps suggested on the Discord page (remove exclusivity, disable other devices, delete vosk.dll, etc) but none of those steps worked.

I then tried nVidia Broadcast as suggested but that doesn't work either.

Are there any other possible fixes that I've missed trying?

Did you also change the Input from Nvidia Broadcast in Windows to the Application as shown here?....

yup, tried all that. No luck.

Voice interactions may be disabled again. Played the other night with my sister and only voice chat worked. It's an off and on issue being worked on.

Edit: Voice interactions are disabled. It's a shared "problem".

it's not your mic it's an ingame issue. my friends and I have the same problem where we can hear eachother in voice chat but when we go to interact with stuff like ouija board, the ghost etc, nothing happens

I use a HyperX Cloud II Wireless and have the same problem. Can talk to players and maybe the voice box, but not the in-game triggers.
