Guipo Strange Behaviour

So I was doing a solo hard run at Kurosawa and had a Guipo. I was able to get the stains evidence, but due to it constantly moving I was unable to get anything else. I narrowed it down to 3 choices by ruling out freezing as the rooms were always around 20(probably because it was moving so much) and fingerprints. I guessed Guipo and left since I was unable to make any headway with evidence. I'd head out to the tent, grab some items, and then head back to the room only to find it already switched, then have to hunt it down again. This happened about 6 times. I used the stains as confirmation of movement. It was swapping about 1-3 minutes after I'd get back into the room if it was still there at all. The guide I found on it on the discord mentions it being rare to move, but I'm uncertain if this is true. Is this behavior standard for a Guipo or did I find an oddball?
