The ESG definitely need more love. I have over 70 hours in this game which isn't mind blowing but I have a fair amount of experience with the ghost types and equipment.
I felt 100% like I knew what ghost I was working with based off of its behaviors. So I waited forever trying to get the ESG to produce the evidence and to verify my hunch.
After nearly 10-12 miniutes saying "manifest", " show yourself", "manifest yourself". etc it finally did.
Keep in mind the Goryo is unique and wont show itself if your near the ESG.
The tripod cams are funky. They have the coloring like black and white night vision but they really cant see well in the dark. This is rough when a ghost toggles the light switch, blows the light and your looking for that ESG or painting in the dark. The screen is definitely too dark to see far into the room.
It's the same way that you don't actually need to talk for the voice box to activate. It'll eventually just do it on it's own.
